Let’s face it: if you wear makeup on a daily basis, you need to make the right choice in skin care products! Ever since I started my blog, I care more about my skin, so I’m showing you the three steps I do on a daily, partly weekly basis. Removing today’s 10 layers of makeup screams for a solid beauty routine! Check it out!
Step 1: TAKING IT OFF
I tested several (waterproof) makeup removers and nominated Elisabeth Arden’s luxurious Ceramide Replenishing Cleansing Oil as the contest winner! Using three key ingredients: olive, safflower, and apricot oil – it works wonders on my skin! Essential lipids, including Omega 3, 6, and 9 and Vitamin E, nourish my skin, leaving it with a soft finish!
Step 2: GETTING THAT RADIANT GLOW
I started incorporating facial masks into my weekly routine, and I’m really digging the results! They’ve minimized my pores, and helped even out my skin after months of applying it three times a week. Free from mineral oils, silicone oils and synthetic dye, Dr. Eckstein’s green mask Moor Kräuter Packung scored high! At the same time, The Body Shop’s Chinese Ginseng & Rise is a creamy peeling mask that produced revitalizing effects as well – so it’s a tie!
Step 3: FINISHING IT UP
My skin is dry and needs that replenishment daily. I use Estee Lauder’s Day Wear before applying my makeup, and the Advanced Night Repair – duh – throughout the night 😀 It’s an investment to make, but well worth it.
