Two years ago, I paid visit to the Marché des Créateurs at the Mudam Museum in Luxembourg. Drained of inspiration, I went there to see what Lux’s young designers had to offer, as they presented their latest creations in design, fashion, and jewelry. That’s when I spotted just what I was looking for: a jewelry collection by Japanese designer Rina Oliveira – the style crush was instant!
Her signature style line uses colorful French beads, delicate golden necklaces, and beautiful charm bracelets. Today, I’m showcasing to you some of my favorite pieces (so far).
This golden necklace is 14K Gold Plated (Nickel free), delicate, but also extremely durable. Here, I’m wearing the 37cm long Initial Disc Necklace with a white birthstone marking the month of November. You can find other stone colors here.
I simply adore these earrings! The black bead balls are hand-knitted, using a rare, hard-to-find material. I chose black beads to fit my new, dark brown, matte lipstick, but you may choose from an abundance of different colors here. What looks like pearls are actually pastel cotton balls.
Finally, just say “no” to mainstream jewelry and check out local designers from time to time, and get inspirations of your own. You can follow Rina on Instagram to check out her latest collection featuring ROUGH DIAMONDS!
